Carrying the flag.

This sunday saw Julia participating in the Remembrance Sunday parade, continuing a family tradition amongst the girls of carrying the standard. She discovered that it is quite heavy!


We have heaved a collective sigh of relief as Lydia has now finished this year's exams!! Hooray! She needs to knuckle down and get on with the other three, ready for next year.

Shame on me!

Haven't posted for a while-half term has come and gone,Lydia only has two more exams to go(maths...aarrgh!), progress is being made on Phoebus,the wall is completed,
Lydia and I had a nightmare trip to Bristol on thursday for her second english paper- cancelled trains, caoches and a delayed start to the exam...we were very glad to get home.
We had a light party at church on friday which was enjoyed by all who attended, mostly church kids but three from Top of The Town club.
I took photos of Hannah and Dan's bikes while we were there for the wedding and have been meaning to post a picture for you to see, they are so cool!
