I have been on a bit of a book buying/borrowing spree! From the library I got 'The Golden Notebook' by Doris Lessing, but have abandoned it in favour of 'Rhett Butler's People' a novel about Rhett Butler and the events of 'Gone with the Wind' from his point of view. I thought it would be good background for when Julia and I reach slavery and the civil war in our American history.
I am waiting for 'Real Learning' by Elizabeth Foss but the 'Charlotte Mason Summaries' have arrived. I haven't started them yet as I am still reading 'Shepherding your child's heart' by Ted Tripp( bought from the home ed bring and buy site).
I probably have enough to keep me going for a while!
